Consultations
At Sage Behavior Services, we believe that meaningful progress happens through collaboration. Active parent/caregiver involvement is essential for skill development, generalization across settings, and long-term success. We work closely with families, educators, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other members of your child’s support team to ensure consistency, accomplish shared goals, and implement practical strategies that fit naturally into daily activities and routines.
Consultation services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each family, school team, or organization. Areas of support may include:
- Guidance in implementing behavior plan strategies
- Strategies for building communication, social, and daily-living skills
- Problem-solving when behaviors impact learning, participation, or safety
- Support with teaching self-advocacy and independence
- Methods for fostering peer relationships and social engagement
- Collaboration to promote inclusive practices in school and community settings
- Training and coaching for caregivers and school personnel
Our consultative approach is collaborative, practical, and respectful of each child’s individuality. We focus on strategies that are evidence-based, culturally responsive, and aligned with the family’s or organization’s values and priorities.
Consultation services are provided based on the needs of the participants. They may be offered in home, school, or community settings.
