Position Available: Behavior Interventionist

Sage Behavior Services is privately-owned and is not backed/affiliated by any private equity company. We are seeking fun, engaging, and motivated people to join our family. We are currently looking for part-time Behavior Interventionists (also referred to as “Behavior Technicians” by many in our field) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our clients throughout the following geographic areas:

California

  • Orange Country
  • San Gabriel/Pomona
  • East Los Angeles County including Cerritos, Norwalk, and La Mirada
  • Long Beach and surrounding cities

Washington

  • Kitsap County
  • King County
  • Pierce County (Tacoma area)

The responsibilities of a Behavior Interventionist at Sage include, but are not limited to:

  • implementation of individualized ABA interventions to clients in a ethical, professional, and compassionate manner to increase the client’s functional skills and independence in areas such as communication, socialization, daily-living, self-help, and safety
  • working closely under the supervision and guidance of the BCBA supervisor
  • collection of accurate, objective data on the client’s progress during ABA sessions
  • professional communication and collaboration with families, colleagues, and other professionals

What’s required to apply?  Although experience with children and ABA is preferred, it is not necessary. What is required is a enthusiasm and passion for interacting and teaching children!  Also needed:

  • a strong desire to learn
  • professionalism and reliability
  • a high school diploma (or equivalent) or higher
  • availability between 8:00AM – 6:30PM; afternoons and early evenings preferred
  • your own reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service settings
  • completion of a background check and TB test upon being hired
  • a valid Driver’s License and proof of car insurance
